Dog Days

A pup learning from those who came before him.

This short film is a personal tribute to my dogs who have passed away, imagining what it might look like if my new puppy could see them as ghosts. The concept is rooted in the popular belief that animals can sense things humans can't, which is why dogs sometimes bark at empty hallways or blank walls. In the film, my puppy grows up alongside these apparitions, learning from them and playing with them until he's fully grown. It's a story about love, memory, and the idea that even after they're gone, they're never really that far away. This film was premiere at Mavlon, Colorado Mesa University's film festival.
